- Times New Roman, 12 pt for the body and 14 pt for the heading.
- Structure it as introduction, methodology, results and conclusion, and summarise the substantive results.
- Give reviewers enough to judge the topic's significance, the investigative approach, the results and the conclusions.
- Include a picture of your work with a short explanation beneath it.
- Check that scientific notation, Greek letters, bold, italics and other special characters display correctly in the title.
- List every co-author, whether presenting or not, and any faculty mentors.

Oral presentations
- Each speaker has 20 minutes: plan to speak for 17 and leave 3 for questions. Time can't be extended for technical problems.
- Presentations must be PowerPoint, in a single file that runs on Windows.
- Bring one copy on a USB drive. Organisers load all presentations onto the conference computers.
- Use Arial or Times New Roman, and keep slides simple to avoid hardware and software conflicts.
- Use the standard 4:3 ratio rather than 16:9 widescreen.
At the conference
- Check your presentation in the speaker preview room at least 24 hours before your session.
- Arrive 30 minutes before the start of your session, not just your own talk.

Poster presentations
Your poster is a visual version of your submitted abstract.
- Put the title at the top, with your name and your school or centre.
- Keep the message clear and concise. After the title, make the introduction, methodology and conclusion panels the clearest and most attractive.
- Show results as graphs where possible and avoid large data tables.
- Use pictures, symbols and colour. Give every figure a short, informative legend and every graph a short heading.
- Please stand at or near your poster for at least the first 30 minutes of the poster reception to answer questions.

MP4 / M4VSubmission format
Video presentations

- Any device that records standard or high-definition video is fine.
- Check for spelling mistakes and inaccuracies before submitting.
- Convert the final video to MP4 or M4V. Videos that don't meet these requirements won't be reviewed.
